| Speaking feature is quite clear and can be used in a pinch in any language. Basic phrases are well maintained and accurate. Direct translation is fine for common words, but dictionary is not exhaustive, especially if translating from a language into english (it works better english to x). All in all a very useful device and quite portable and durable. Recommended for those who are not already proficient in some of the languages. |

| As a translator this unit is very good. When trying to listen to the spoken phrase or word it is spoken too fast to understand. Volume control is acceptable. Recommend an update to slow the phrase or word when played. |

| This really came in handy in Spain and then again in Italy when I was trying to explain something to a local. It's fairly easy to use. I like the talking feature as it helps with pronunciation. |
